In 1983 our principal owners, Pam & Dennis Horvath took a gamble and purchased this existing business. Not having any experience in this field, they began to enhance the level of service to the community by instilling their values and beliefs. Besides growing the towing business over the years, they diversified by entering into Automotive Repair and Heavy Haul Transportation. In 2000, this truly became a family business when their two sons joined the business on a full time basis to continue the same values of honesty, professionalism, and community service Pam & Dennis have set as a coarse to follow for continued success. Giving back to the community and participating in local events through Civic Clubs such as both Corona Rotary Clubs (Corona and Circle City), the Employment Development Department, Employers Advisory Council, Corona Chamber of Commerce, to name a few, has always been viewed as critical by Hamner Towing.
Participation in the industry of Emergency Road Service and Towing has also been highly valued. Hamner Towing has been a member of the California Tow Truck Association since 1983. Pam and Dennis have held positions at the local chapter level and their son Casey got involved in CTTA back in 2005. Since then he has participated as the Inland Empire Chapter President, State Board of Directors delegate from the Inland Empire and member of the Legislative Committee. From there he spent two terms as the State Treasurer of the Association and eventually worked his way up to the position of Vice President from Southern California. While in this position, he was granted the opportunity to Co-Chair the newly formed Towing Regulatory and Oversight Council. He held this role from the council’s inception in 2013 through 2019, and now continues to participate as a council panelist. This dedication to our industry association is from our passion to constantly improve the quality of service to the motoring public while looking out for it’s successful future.
